Life Skills

Our school community is made up of children of different abilities, backgrounds, beliefs and cultures. We aim to enable all children to discover their potential in an atmosphere where they are taught that friendship and the views of those with different beliefs are valued and respected.

Children in the early years and lower phase experience Circle Time with their class teacher. They are encouraged to listen to others and decide together on the choices to make. Upper phase children follow a citizenship programme which enables the development of speaking and listening skills and the capacity to make reasoned judgements. Special speakers are invited to the school to enhance this programme.
