Numeracy

Mathematics is taught using a wide variety of apparatus. Children are given plenty of practical experience especially in the early years to enable them to develop the skills and understanding necessary for them to handle mathematical data with confidence and enthusiasm.

Children are placed in ability groupings for maths within the class and the work is differentiated accordingly.
