The Values the School Promotes

Our school is based on Christian principles with all children taking part both in our acts of worship and in Christian Education classes. The school’s motto, ‘non progredi est regredi’, means ‘not to go forward is to go backwards’. It is our aim that all children at our school will be motivated, enquiring and enthusiastic to learn and achieve.

Our school is an inclusive independent primary school which sets high academic standards, preparing children for secondary education at independent, grammar and state secondary schools. We are dedicated to the education of the whole child, encouraging confidence, initiative, responsibility and self- discipline.

Our broad based curriculum not only develops a high academic standard in the core curriculum subjects but also offers the children the opportunity to develop their skills in a variety of sports, swimming, music, art, drama and modern foreign languages.
