Welcome to Danesfield Manor School. Our school
is a fun place to be; it offers children a welcoming environment
where they are safe to make mistakes and learn from them, where
they can take on challenges and know they will be supported.
Our website aims to give you a realistic
overview of what you might expect from us as a school and the sort
of education your child would receive should you decide to choose
us.
We are a school with many traditions but we
are not traditional. We achieve excellent examination results but
we are not examination driven. We want every child to exceed even
their own expectations but we want them to do so by understanding
that they will achieve more if they have a good, confident
self-image, are motivated to learn and are self-disciplined.
At our school children receive an education
which combines traditional learning with a modern curriculum.
We believe that the ‘hidden curriculum' - the implicit
teaching that develops a child’s confidence and self esteem - is
vital.
Our children leave us fully prepared for the
next step in their education.
